ABOUT this practice
Yoga is recommended by the NHS as a supportive practice during menopause — and while general yoga can help, a practice tailored specifically to the symptoms and experiences of this transition can make a real difference.
I'm Caroline Butler, a certified menopause yoga teacher trained with Petra Coveney, the originator of Menopause Yoga. My workshops combine yoga, breathwork and sound, designed specifically to support the body and mind through perimenopause and menopause.
I run four themed workshops, each three hours long with a 90-minute yoga class and sound meditation to close. You'll receive a workbook to take away with everything covered in the session. All workshops are suitable for complete beginners.
— Intro Workshop: The Perimenopause & Beyond — Navigating The Storm — Finding Calm: Managing Anxiety & Overwhelm — Cooling & Calming
New workshops are added throughout the year. Join the mailing list above to hear first — or if you're a studio interested in hosting, I'd love to hear from you.
ABOUT ME
I'm a Hackney-based yoga teacher with over 25 years of personal practice and six years of teaching. Yin yoga is my specialism — I trained for 90 hours with Norman Blair, who brought yin yoga to the UK, and Jo Phee of the Paul Grilley lineage, including bone morphology and cadaver study at King's College London. I'm also trained in breathwork and run regular sound baths using crystal bowls.
I came to menopause yoga because I believe this transition deserves its own dedicated practice — not just modified general yoga. Alongside my menopause yoga training with Petra Coveney, I bring a grounding in anatomy, nervous system work and the yin lineage that shapes everything I teach.
